I was in need of a serious chop. My hair had become unruly. I didn't have time to pop to my usual barber, and instead opted for Bardot, which is just around the corner. I can't say that the image of the place does much for me, I typically prefer my barbers to be dirty looking. You know, a man's man kind of place. Well Bardot is a little more 'pastel' than I am used to. It's certainly not a male orientated barbers - this is really more of a mixed sex salon of sorts.Anyhow, the cut was great. I was certainly taken care of and seen almost straight away despite not having made an appointment. Beard trim was good also. Get's a very solid 5/5 from me. I walked in worried and left delighted.
Ooh honey. Where do I start?Pros: Very cute salon, loved the decoration. Smiling employees and polite. Cons: Very hard to take an appointment in English. I understand it's a Portuguese speaking city but still... Too bad, for the foreigners.The guy who did my haircut was not very professional, I think he is not used to short hair & specific demands. I asked for short hair on the side and a little cut on the top but now I look like I just got out of prison. :/The girl on the phone told me 15 for just the hair (without bear) but I think he noticed I was not content with my haircut so he asked for only 10.Also he asked if I wanted a shampoo only AFTER the hair cut.?? Would recommend only if you have long straight hair (easier for them I guess) or if you just don't care. Will not come back again! Sorry!
